ANA JOHNSSON..'LITTLE ANGEL'

Ana Johnsson's previous effort 'The Way I am ' carried the Spiderman soundtrack hit 'We Are'. I felt that album was a little disjointed and never really got out of first gear. It was ok, but that was about it. 'Little Angel' seems more consistent and heavier, with mid tempo rockers and the normal quota of ballads. I did wonder what to expect though from the album, with the opening track (also being the title track) a rather haunting fairly laid back song. But 'Break Through Time' although still a slower song, proves that Ana can rock. Through the 12 tracks on offer, I actually feel that there is not a track on the cd that hangs around in your head for too long, although this is a consistent effort. 7.5/10 (Reviewed by Laura)
